🎉 A landmark day for SLAM Ortho!

Last week we delivered the first CE-certified ADEPTH® sensors to the Trauma Surgery team at Erasmus Medical Center with Prof. Dr. Michiel Verhofstad treating the first patient using the CE-marked innovative device.

ADEPTH replaces manual depth-gauging - a decades-old, error-prone step in fracture surgery - with fast, accurate, contactless measurement that fits any existing drill machine. That means better implant sizing, less implant waste, patient risk, and reduced surgery time.

A huge thank you to the trauma team at Erasmus MC, the largest trauma center in the Netherlands, for their trust and rigor. From pilot to product, their team was instrumental in the development of the final device. And to everyone at SLAM, everyone who backed us, invested in us, and pushed us along the way: today is yours too.
